Harry Christakis received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Waterloo. He is a member of the R.A.I.C., O.A.A., and NEWH. Harry established the practice in 1991 and has executed a multitude of projects types such as Community centers, high-rise Residential, Hotels, Spas and working with the likes of companies like Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Marriott International, Hilton, Starwood, Westmont Hospitality, Larco Hospitality, and Highgate Hotels to name a few.
Most notable local hotel projects include, the Park Hyatt Hotel Toronto, Stillwater Spa Toronto, the 600 room downtown Toronto Courtyard by Marriott, the Renaissance by Marriott at the Toronto Airport and the Sheraton Parkway in Richmond Hill. He has also designed the interiors for the Hilton Garden Inn in Markham, the Hilton Airport Hotel in Winnipeg and the Embassy Suites in Columbus, Ohio.
Currently he is working as a spa consultant for the new Ritz Carlton Spa Toronto and the new Vida Spa at Blue Mountain. He is also involved with the renovations to the Westin Prince Hotel and on the proposed renovations for the new Gold Room Floors at the Royal York Hotel. He is also designing a new model room for the Le Royal Meridien King Edward Hotel and a new model room for the Park Hyatt Hotel in Toronto.
