As a leading resort developer in the Bow Valley, Alpine
Homes represents the highest quality of
design and construction. Christopher is a
member of the Senior Management Team and provides
direction on all major corporate directives and
strategies. Within his role of Vice President,
Sales and Development, Christopher leads two distinct
portfolios; the Design and Development team which
manages all aspects of land acquisition, and development,
project design, municipal approvals and consultant
team coordination; and the Sales and Marketing
team which is responsible for all internal and
external marketing initiatives and sales programs.
Since joining Alpine Homes
in January, Christopher has negotiated land use
amendments and lead the design of an 87 unit luxury,
boutique hotel, managed the development permit
and design process for a 31 unit luxury town home
development, has amended the existing inventory
to include fractional ownership and is currently
negotiating land purchases in British Colombia. With
respect to marketing, Christopher has lead a complete
redesign of the Alpine Homes brand, advertising campaigns,
collateral, show suites and presentation centres. Christopher
has restructured the sales team, the compensation
program and negotiated new terms with respect to
international and third party sales commissions. Christopher
is also working with the finance team to secure project
financing and private investment.
Previously:
- Christopher was a member of the Senior Management
Team of Assured Developments Ltd,
responsible for providing direction on all major
corporate strategies and played an integral role
in the acquisition and development of over 1,400
planned residential units with potential gross
revenues of over $600,000,000.
- In his role
at Maverick Real Estate
Corporation, Christopher was
responsible for all Alberta operations. In
addition, Christopher provided strategic direction
to the teams in Vancouver and Okanagan, British
Columbia. During his time at Maverick,
Christopher was responsible for the sales,
marketing and design leadership of the following
projects: Stella, Nova, Blackstone Mountain
Lodge, Vivacity, and Lakeshore Place. Within
his capacity at Maverick, Christopher worked
with the developers’ consultant teams
to ensure that projects were designed to meet
the demands and interests of the target market
based on extensive market research conducted
by the Maverick team. In addition to
design oversight, Christopher would also develop
the launch strategy, the product branding and
marketing campaign, design the presentation
centres, acquire and train the sales team and
provide detailed revenue forecasts and cash
flow projections.
- In his role at Kanga Communications as
CEO & Managing Director, Christopher was responsible
for the overall operations of the firm, ongoing
business development and long-term strategic planning.
Christopher founded Kanga in 1998 with a goal of
creating a collaborative, service-based strategic
communications and design firm that would facilitate
clients’ needs in order to realize their
business goals. Key services included management
consulting, strategic communication planning, stakeholder
relations, market research, marketing, media relations,
advertising, web development and Internet application
development. By targeting three specific markets;
real estate development, healthcare and public
service, Christopher was able to develop and cultivate
client relationships in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary,
Toronto, interior British Colombia, California,
Montana and Nevada.
Christopher has a strong belief
in community involvement. His record includes
a balance between charitable initiatives and industry
