As president of IMI Marketing from 1999-2006, Chris was on the front-lines of the North American boom in luxury real estate. Chris led the envisioning, branding and marketing of more than 30 new communities and destinations in Canada, the United States, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas. Chris directed marketing that resulted in more than $10 billion in sales of luxury real estate for a wide range of clients such as The Related Group, The Trump Organization, The Lyle Anderson Companies, KOR Hotels, and East West Partners.

A graduate of the University of Houston’s Studies of the Future program, Chris is now president of Resonance Consultancy based in New York City and Vancouver. He has married his marketing expertise with futures research methodologies to help a variety of clients uncover unique consumer and stakeholder insights and envision and create new places, brands and organizations.

Chris has been featured in Fast Company magazine and presented to audiences at the Urban Land Institute, American Resort Development Association, the World Leisure Congress, World Future Society and others – sharing his insights on luxury trends and societal behavior.

Previously, Chris was the co-founder and president of Ryan & Deslauriers Communications in Montreal, an award-winning creative company with a reputation as a leader in the marketing of lifestyle products and real estate for clients such as Intrawest, Hyatt, Seagrams and Nike. Mr. Fair also served as President of Traveller Infomedia Corp., a North American publisher of travel and tourism guides for clients such as Tremblant Resort and the National Parks of Canada.

Chris is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the World Leisure Organization, the Luxury Marketing Council, the Luxury Board  and the Association of Professional Futurists
