Sue Nickason is the principal of Canadian Resort Consultants, an Ontario based management consulting firm providing market research, feasibility studies and marketing services to the lodging industry. Since 2004 Sue's practise has focused on the vacation ownership industry and she has worked with 20+ projects in eastern Canada.
Prior to establishing CRC, Sue was VP, Sales and Marketing, at Toronto Congress Centre, one of Canada's largest trade and convention facilities. She has also worked as Director of Marketing at Horseshoe Resort, in a consulting capacity for a leading Canadian bank and was Director of Community and Economic Development for the Towns of Wasaga Beach and Penetanguishene. During her years in economic development, Sue worked to attract resort developers to the communities she represented.
Sue's professional experience has resulted in an understanding of attracting resort developers from both the developers' and communities' perspectives.
Sue has a B.A. (Honours) from Mt. Allison University and a M.B.A. (with Distinction) from the School of Hotel and Food Administration at the University of Guelph.
Originally from New Brunswick, Sue resides in Barrie, Ontario.
