Ken Lambert

Ken is a seasoned marketing practitioner with over 25 years of senior management experience in the Canadian hotel, airline and tourism sectors. Ken started his marketing career with Wardair in 1988 followed by a stint at Canadian Airlines. He then took the helm, together with full P&L responsibility, for Ottawa Tourism ( 1994-1996) and then the Americas’ division of Hong Kong Tourism during its tumultuous repatriation era in the late 1990’s. From 1998 until recently, Ken served as Vice-President Marketing & Sales for Delta Hotels and Resorts.

While Ken’s experience has focused on brand and tactical marketing with direct experience over a 25 year span in brand positioning; on-line strategies; major media creative development and placement; website management and positioning; CRM disciplines including senior control over Delta Privilege loyalty program; and Public Relations at Delta Hotels and both tourism organizations. It is noteworthy that Ken held responsibility on behalf of the city-state of Hong Kong for all US, Canada and South American public relations and messaging during its 1997 repatriation to China.

Additionally, Ken has a long background in sales which includes direct and indirect responsibility for over 150 sales professionals at Delta Hotels. His involvement with targeting and connecting with meeting planner professionals, corporate travel planners, incentive agencies and third party intermediaries spans the North American continent.

Ken has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Brock University and lives with his family in Oakville, Ontario.
