Stephen Foster
Stephen Foster is Senior Vice President of Operations for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. Based in Toronto, Foster is responsible for the 90 Starwood properties in Northeast US and Eastern Canada Region, including 34 owned & managed and 56 franchise hotels. Foster brings more than 30 years of hospitality expertise to his position. A graduate of Hotel and Restaurant Management from Ryerson University, Foster received an Honorary Doctorate of Commerce from his alma mater in 2000. Mr. Foster continues to be an active member of industry-related organizations, having held these positions - Chair, Meetings & Incentive Travel Committee - Canadian Tourism Commission; Advisory Board – Ryerson Polytechnic University; Advisory Board – University of Guelph AMPHI program; Board member – Metro Toronto Convention & Visitors Association and the Hotel Association of Metropolitan Toronto. Currently, he is the Vice Chairman of TIAC, the Tourism Industry Association of Canada and a past board member of The Collins School of Hospitality Management in California. |
