Michelle Le Sage has lived, and loved, the hospitality industry since her first hospitality job at the early age of 15. Michelle is currently the Executive Assistant Manager of the Chateau Victoria Hotel and Suites and boasts a very well rounded hospitality career. In the past 25 years she has held the positions of Front Office Manager, Rooms Division Manager, Conference Service Manager, Director of Sales and Marketing and Director of Food and Beverage.

As a recent graduate of Royal Roads University Michelle obtained her Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management and was the recipient of the Eric C. Douglass Award for displaying thebest entrepreneurial spirit with a philanthropic nature.  Michelle also holds her Certified Rooms Division Executive (CRDE) designation.

Michelle is a past chair of the Victoria branch of the British Columbia Restaurant and Food Services Association (BCRFA), Past President of the Parksville and District Chamber of Commerce, served several terms as a Director of Tourism Victoria and as a Provincial Director of the BCRFA, and is currently a foundation member of the Greater Victoria Eldercare Foundation.  Michelle is also the founder and past co-chair of the popular Dine Around & Stay in Town Victoria.

Michelle has always been a vital member of the Human Resources departments of the properties in which she has worked and is a certified SuperHost and SuperHost Japan Instructor. She is very proud that her current property was just named Hospitality/Tourism Business of the Year by the Business Examiner and is also being recognized for their H/R practices and retention of long term employees.
