Jed Goldberg has been the President of Earth Day Canada since 1991.  Under his direction, Earth Day Canada has grown from a small fledgling organization to one of Canada’s most respected environmental charities.  Earth Day Canada is the recipient of many awards including the top environmental education organization in North America by the Washington based North American Association for Environmental Education the world’s largest association of environmental educators and the Not for Profit Organization of 2008 as presented by the Canadian Association of Environmental Education and Communications.

Mr. Goldberg is frequently interviewed as an expert in the area of environmental protection and renewable energy. Interviews with Mr. Goldberg have been broadcast on CBC National TV News, CBC Radio 1, CTV National News and Canada AM, TVO - Studio 2, The Globe and Mail, National Post and most major Canadian media outlets. A frequent speaker at conferences across Canada, recent presentations include: Federation of Canadian Municipalities Annual Convention, Recycling Council of Ontario Annual Convention, Canadian Students’ Leadership Conference and Target Zero Canada Launch. Mr. Goldberg currently serves on the board of The Clean Air Partnership and The Community Power Fund. He lives in Toronto with his wife Sheila and their two children.
