Alan Pyle

Alan Pyle was a career banker for over 20 years holding senior executive positions with the Mercantile Bank of Canada and First City Trust.

Since the mid 90's he has been a principal of the RFA Group managing both real estate and mortgage investments on behalf of a small group of wealthy investors. In 2002 the RFA Group made its first CMBS acquisition and eventually made over $200,000,000 of CMBS-related investments between 2002 and 2008. RFA manages the largest portfolio of non-investment grade CMBS investments in Canada and is the Controlling Class Representative on 17 different CMBS pools.

Alan holds degrees from both the University of Toronto and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He also had the honour of representing Canada in the Olympics in 1972. When not in the office, he focuses his energies on golf and currently enjoys 200 rounds per year.
