David Northcote is a Principal with NORR Limited responsible for Hospitality Projects. NORR Limited is a fully integrated architecture and engineering firm located in Toronto. Founded in 1938, the company has achieved a longevity and success that few other Canadian A&E firms can claim – contributing 70 years of innovation and creativity to high profile, quality commercial and institutional developments.

NORR is part of the Ingenium Group of Companies, one of Canada’s largest A&E firms, drawing on 750 staff who, combined, are experienced in every aspect of architecture, engineering, interior design, planning, construction management and information technology. NORR's experience includes various project types involving facilities for hospitality, commercial, research and development, sports and entertainment, health sciences, mission critical, justice, aviation, education, institutional, and retail use. For all building types NORR has designed new buildings as well as the renovation and rehabilitation of existing facilities. NORR’s portfolio encompasses a long history of projects in the hospitality sector, extending from the Toronto Sheraton Downtown to the Casino New Brunswick Hotel, Casino and Palladium (entertainment facility) currently under construction.

A graduate of the University of Waterloo and a licensed Architect, David joined NORR Limited in 2009 as Principal, Hospitality following a six years as Principal Architect for Magna International Inc. (MII). At MII he designed and coordinated racetrack, racino, hotel and “Lifestyle” mixed-uses projects while gaining valuable experience from the Owner’s perspective. Drawing on more than 28 years of experience on a wide variety of projects, including many flash-track and fast-track projects, David has focused on the hospitality industry since 1996 and is currently involved in NORR hospitality projects across Canada.
