Market Strategy Leader | GE
John Paul “JP” Soltesz joined the GE Global Market Intelligence team in August 2011. As Market Strategy Leader, JP links economic and market analysis to the business opportunities and risks of GE’s sectors. In this context, JP is responsible for managing relationships with MI teams across GE’s business lines. JP also manages projects conducted in conjunction with other functions of the GE Corporate Marketing team, including Innovation, Technology, and Public Policy. One of his main responsibilities is to provide Global Economic consultation and strategic insight. Prior to joining the Global Market Intelligence team, JP spent 4 years in Market Intelligence roles at GE Capital Real Estate, working primarily with the Global Investment Management team.
Prior to joining GE, JP spent 3 years at MarketLauncher, Inc. a B-to-B lead generation firm, managing accounts in a variety of industries, including technology, engineering/architecture, health care, banking and corporate training. He also spent 10 years in Market Research and Sales Development in the broadcast and print media. He worked in Orlando, Florida with the local Fox affiliate and the Orlando Sentinel, and at the national level at advertising “Rep Firms” in New York City.
JP holds an MBA in Marketing from Crummer School of Business at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida and a BA in Advertising/PR from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
