Lesley Braby

Lesley Braby joined the CTC in 2007, bringing over 15 years of marketing and sales experience in a broad range of tourism sectors including airlines, cruise, receptive, travel agency, and tour operator. She manages the CTC’s Brand Experiences unit, a team that is responsible for identifying and promoting the unique Canadian travel experiences that bring Canada’s tourism brand to life, as well as reaching out to industry with tools and resources that help small businesses enhance their experiential delivery. Learning and teaching really float her boat: teaching herself, colleagues and industry partners about experiential tourism development and how it can make a real difference to Canada’s competitiveness as a global tourism destination. At the top of her priority list currently is a new CTC program aimed at effectively positioning the tourism experiences that best resonate with its target international travellers in order to inspire them to visit Canada now.
