Rob Reinders

Vice President, Design Management  | Marriott International - Architecture & Construction

Rob Reinders, Vice President of Franchise Projects for Marriott Architecture and Construction (A&C), oversees architecture, interior design, and project management for Marriott’s Select Service and Extended Stay brands, including Courtyard, Fairfield Inn & Suites, Residence Inn, SpringHill Suites, and TownePlace Suites. Managing an ongoing pipeline of several hundred projects simultaneously, Rob has seen the successful completion of more than 1,000 projects in his 22+ years with the company.

Rob began his career with Marriott International in 1987 and has had the opportunity to take on diverse responsibilities within Marriott’s design and construction program. In his tenure with the company, he has played an active roll in the ongoing design evolution and development of Marriott’s brands, including the creation of SpringHill Suites and TownePlace Suites. Additionally, Rob has been instrumental in the introduction and rollout of Marriott’s lodging products throughout Canada, and continues to support the region’s robust development pipeline.

A licensed architect, Rob’s extensive knowledge and expertise are supported by his powerful passion for design. He is also affiliated with the American Institute of Architects. An undergraduate of Iowa State University, Rob received his Masters of Architecture from Rice University.
