Housekeeping Quality Assurance Advisor | Sheraton Centre Toronto

As a Housekeeping Quality Assurance Advisor (QAA) of Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, Brian’s core responsibilities include managing and coaching over 200 associates in the Housekeeping department and their performances, as well as to inspect guest rooms and public areas for compliance with established cleanliness, maintenance and set-up standards in a gigantic 1,377 room property.

Prior to joining Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel as a Housekeeping QAA, Brian has worked a number of years in the Food and Beverage sector of the industry, including an international co-op placement at the Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel in South Korea, as a Food and Beverage Management intern. During his last year of study at the Ryerson University (BComm.), he has dedicated himself to experience different aspects of the hospitality industry by completing both Human Resources and Housekeeping internship at Sheraton Centre Hotel. During this time, he quickly fell in love with the rooms operation and was after recruited to become the QAA of the Housekeeping. It was his drive for excellence, ability to delight guests, and can-do attitude, which inspired his current colleagues to refer and recommend him for a leadership position prior to his graduation.

According to his colleagues from other departments, Brian is an excellent example of a collaborative team player, as his communication skills are thorough and effective in a timely manner when it comes to guest service. He shines especially in emergency situations where guest recovery is required as he notifies Front Office immediately with key details. Although he is not working with the front of the house, Brian is praised for his dedication to bring the highest level of service to his ability and he is a great asset to the Rooms Team at Sheraton Centre Toronto.
