Kyle Nantais is the Vice President Revenue Optimization & Strategies for more than 109 multi-branded properties in the InnVest Real Estate Investment Trust (“InnVest REIT”) portfolio, which are managed by Westmont Hospitality Group (“Westmont”). Graduating from the University of Western Ontario with a BA in Economics, the next 20 years of hospitality experience was an eclectic combination of field and corporate operation skills holding General Manager positions at various hotels before joining the Revenue Management team with Westmont in 2000.
Kyle’s leadership, insight and innovative way of explaining revenue principles evolved with the creation of a “RevPAR Me!” culture within the hotels. This culture focused on the revenue responsibilities and individual accountability required both for the property management teams and the individual employee. Possessing a diverse knowledge and experience of both property-level practically and operational expectations allows his revenue management team to clearly identify opportunities and have the foresight to deliver expected results. The proliferation of e-commerce booking channels has created the necessity for a departmental evolution into e-revenue management professionals to effectively channel manage to ensure property financial optimization and profitability. Taking a “brand-centric” approach in providing field level insight to e-commerce and revenue management initiatives in the industry, Kyle actively holds positions on the Choice Canada and Travelodge Canada Franchisee Advisory boards along with IAHI Book Direct Advisory Council.
InnVest REIT holds Canada’s largest hotel portfolio together with a 50% interest in Choice Hotels Canada Inc., the largest franchisor of hotels in Canada. InnVest REIT’s portfolio currently comprises 109 hotel properties, with approximately 14,000 rooms, operated under internationally recognized franchise brands.
