Chris Delaney is Sr. Director, Foodbuy Member Development at Compass Group Canada. He oversees a Complete Sales Team and analysts focused on the Hospitality Sector across Canada along with a variety of other Industries in driving best practices and Partnership’s with Foodbuy Canada.
Chris’ career began immediately after University in building Sales processes and revenue generating opportunities within the Print industry. He quickly moved into management and Team Building at a variety of other Organizations finally landing at Compass Group Canada to create Sales Team for Foodbuy Canada. During his tenure with Foodbuy Canada, the Business has more than doubled in Managed Volume, Partners and Revenues.
Chris has continued to evolve as a valued resource of the Foodbuy Organization not only spear heading all Sales initiatives but creating marketing campaigns, social media strategy and processes for best practice in mobilization of new business. Along with implementing a CRM application and Project management tool Foodbuy has seen improved Brand awareness through the continued efforts of Chris and his Sales Team.
Currently, Chris has volunteered his time to drive Guest participation and Vendor support at the Canadian Hospitality Foundation Annual Gala.
