David has been involved in financing, construction, operations and development within the hospitality industry for his entire career. After completing his education at University Nevada, Las Vegas, he joined Pannell Kerr Forester in Los Angeles, and then moved to the Caribbean with Sonesta Hotels and Princess Hotels.
Executive positions at Sheraton Hotels and the Royal York Hotel were the preamble to joining New World Developments as the President, Canadian Division, Renaissance/ Ramada Hotels. He subsequently joined Wardair Airlines as global Director of Hospitality Operations and Development.
Construction and development became the focus in the 1990’s and 2000’s, when David opened the London Convention Center and then subsequently undertook development roles with ITT Sheraton, Starwood, Carlson, and Wyndham Hotels. He has been involved in the development of over 300 hotels globally.
He joined 360VOX in 2011, to head up their Asset Management portfolio of 10000+ luxury rooms including a selection of urban Fairmont hotels in Canada, USA and Barbados. In 2014 he moved into the role of Senior Vice President Business Development for the company which was acquired by Dundee Corp and became Dundee360, a real estate development company with operations in France, Korea, Croatia, China, USA, and Canada.
David has rejoined Carlson Rezidor Hotel group, a 1400-unit global hotel platform recently acquired by HNA Group of China. A global conglomerate of hotels, airlines, infrastructure and financial divisions.
