Mary Peterson

A seasoned enterprise business leader and expert in sales channel marketing, Mary Peterson is Vice President, IT and Enterprise Solutions for Samsung Canada where she shapes the strategic vision for the company’s B2B division in Canada.

Throughout her more than 20-year career in the technology industry, Mary has created successful business divisions within the Canadian operations of some of the world’s most respected technology companies. At Samsung, she is responsible for all direct and indirect enterprise and public sector sales and marketing efforts for Samsung Solutions across Mobile, Display, Print, and Memory product lines.

Mary held a series of sales and marketing leadership roles at SAP Canada before she joined Samsung, where she earned a reputation for driving enterprise channel sales as a core company strategy. Notably, she recognized the value early on in focusing on the small and medium enterprise segment, achieving triple-digit growth in the category.

Before her time with SAP Canada, Mary became an ardent advocate for sales and channel management throughout her 14-year tenure with Microsoft Canada where she held a number of positions with their sales, marketing, internet and partner organizations. There, she helped shape Microsoft’s sales and partner strategies in the early days with innovative and industry-leading sales and marketing techniques.

Mary was named one of the Top 25 Newsmakers of 2016 by Computer Dealer News, Canada's premier news source for solution providers and the IT channel. Mary is passionate about supporting the intellectual disabilities community. She sits on the board of Safehaven Project for Community Living, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing care options for families with children struggling with complex disabilities.  She is also an active past and present member of other organizations in this community including Park Lane School and Community Living Toronto.
