Kevin James Saunders

Kevin James Saunders is the Managing Director and CEO of the Oculus Hospitality Group of Companies. Both Oculus Hospitality and Checkmark Training provide customer perception management solutions and development through customized training, marketing, quality assessment and mystery shopping services. After working with a similar company, Kevin James felt that training and business solutions companies should provide a more well rounded solution rather than a “touch and go” experience. The Oculus Solutions Collection was born. He has partnered with exclusive hospitality service providers such as Frette Linens of Italy, Capital Business Travel and Stem Consulting. The Oculus vision is to be able to extend complete business evolution planning.

Kevin James brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to the Oculus team of consultants. After attending College Saint-Charles-Garnier, Memorial University and the University of Quebec, Saunders gained practical experiences in Human Resources, Marketing, Hospitality/Hotel Sales and Operations. The combination of these components allows for a progressive understanding and consideration of business operations. Saunders worked with such companies as Signature Worldwide/Canada, Pan Pacific Hotels, Delta Hotels, ADT Security, Diaz Perez & Associates South America. A seasoned world traveler, Saunders has worked in South America, North America & Asia, during which time he has conducted over 650 speaking engagements & seminars. He currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
