COO | Airline Hotels
Jaret is the Chief Operating Officer for Airline Hotels. In his career, Jaret has worked in all levels and departments of hotel operations for international brands, independent hotels, resorts and conference hotels spanning 28 years. His experience in the rooms and food and beverage divisions as well as all areas of administration have given him important perspective to understand operational impacts of large organizational change.
After leaving hotel operations, Jaret built enterprise-wide revenue management (RM) systems across both independent and franchised operations. Jaret was one of the first Canadian graduates of a customized RM program by Cornell University, and was recognized by major international brands for outstanding achievement in RM program development and hotel competitive performance.
Joining Airline Hotels nearly 15 years ago, Jaret was responsible for the acquisition of many hotels, full-service, select service and resort. In addition, Jaret negotiated management and franchise agreements for all Airline properties.
In addition to operations, acquisition and development, Jaret works to flatten the organization and bring regionalization and specialization to a company with growing girth and capability. Having the ability fluctuate between high levels of vision and strategy and the realities of the operating business, Jaret has helped Airline achieve high levels of success.
In his current role as COO, Jaret is responsible for overseeing all company operations, development and implementation of all strategy, acquisition and development and helping Airline define, recreate and protect it’s culture and areas of competitive advantage. Airline has a Co-COO structure and together with Dan Folk, they manage all aspects of the company.
Looking forward, Jaret continues to look for opportunities to acquire hotels and grow the company set on the next level target of 30 hotels.
